INSAIM vs Eleken: an Eleken alternative for SaaS and AI startups

Oct 27, 2026

Eleken is one of the best-known UI/UX agencies for SaaS. It works only with SaaS products, has designed 200+ of them, and offers a dedicated product designer on a monthly subscription, from $4,599 a month for part-time capacity. If you need a designer embedded in your product team for months, focused purely on product UX, Eleken is a strong choice.

INSAIM is a design and development agency in Lisbon for SaaS, AI and tech startups. It is a good Eleken alternative if you need more than product UI from one team: product design together with a marketing website built in Webflow or Framer, and a brand. INSAIM also offers fixed-price projects, such as MVP design from $5,000, alongside a design subscription at $3,900 a month for website and product work.

This is INSAIM's blog. We describe Eleken from its own website and Clutch profile, and we say where Eleken is the better choice.

What Eleken does well

Deep SaaS focus. Eleken works exclusively with SaaS and has designed for geospatial analytics, fintech, healthcare, sales tools, legal tech and developer platforms. Its designers complete a three-month bootcamp and work under senior oversight.

A designer who feels in-house. Each client gets a dedicated designer who joins the team's Slack, Figma and calls, with no account manager in between. Requests are unlimited, and the designer works only on your product.

Predictable pricing. Three plans by capacity: a part-time designer at $4,599 a month, a full-time designer at $6,599, and two full-time designers at $11,999. After the first two months, the subscription runs month to month and can be paused.

Low-risk start. A free three-day trial on a real task from your backlog, usually one or two screens.

Strong reputation. 4.9 on Clutch with more than 100 reviews, and published SaaS case studies with funding and activation results.

Where INSAIM is different

Product, website and brand from one team. Eleken's subscription is built around product UX: discovery, UI, design systems and handoff. Marketing websites and Webflow or Framer builds are not part of its listed offer. INSAIM designs the product and also designs and builds the marketing site in Webflow or Framer, and can create the brand. For an early SaaS team, that means one partner for the product, the landing page and the pitch deck.

Fixed price as well as subscription. Eleken is priced by designer capacity per month. INSAIM offers both:

  • Fixed-price projects: MVP product design from $5,000, a landing page in Webflow or Framer from $5,000, a corporate website from $8,000, brand identity from $3,500.
  • Design subscription: $3,900 a month for website and product work, including Webflow and Framer builds; from $2,200, minimum 2 weeks, for marketing design.

If you know what you need to ship, a fixed price can cost less than two months of a dedicated designer. If you need continuous work, the subscription covers product and website together.

A team rather than one designer. On the subscription, INSAIM works on one active request at a time in each workstream, so product, web and marketing tasks can run in parallel. [to confirm: number of workstreams running in parallel on Scale Up.] Most tasks are delivered in 1 to 3 business days. We work in your Slack, share progress on Loom and meet every two weeks.

Lisbon, Portugal. A team in the EU, in a time zone that overlaps with both European and US working hours.

SaaS, AI and healthtech. Beyond SaaS, we design for AI products and digital health, including patient and practitioner apps.

Pricing compared

For ongoing product work, the closest comparison is Eleken's part-time designer at $4,599 a month against INSAIM's Scale Up subscription at $3,900 a month. The models differ: Eleken gives you a share of one dedicated designer's time, INSAIM gives you a queue of requests handled by a team, with website builds included.

For a defined first product, compare Eleken's two-month minimum with INSAIM's fixed-price MVP design. Two months with an Eleken part-time designer cost $9,198. INSAIM's MVP product design starts at $5,000, with the scope agreed before work starts. Larger products cost more, and timelines usually run 2 to 4 months.

Neither price includes development of the product itself. Both agencies hand designs over to your developers.

When to choose Eleken

  • You need a designer embedded in your product team for many months.
  • Your work is almost entirely product UX: complex workflows, dashboards and data-heavy screens.
  • You want an agency that works only with SaaS and has a long list of SaaS reviews.
  • You already have a marketing website and a team to maintain it.

When to choose INSAIM

  • You need product design and a marketing website in Webflow or Framer from the same team.
  • You want a fixed price for an MVP, a website or a brand before committing to a monthly plan.
  • You are a pre-seed or seed startup that needs brand, landing page and product design in the right order.
  • You want a team in Europe.
  • Your product is in AI or healthtech as well as SaaS.

Other Eleken alternatives

  • UX Studio (Budapest). A UX research and design agency for B2B vertical SaaS, with a dedicated, embedded team on a subscription.
  • Cieden. Product design for complex B2B workflows, AI and data-heavy products.
  • Humbleteam. Product strategy, UX/UI and digital brand for startups.

Work we have done

  • Tapobit, a B2B SaaS platform for digital business cards and smart QR codes, Germany. We designed the MVP in one month, with a design system and brand identity.
  • Happy Hero, a pre-seed mental health app, USA. We turned three early prototypes into an MVP-ready app design over about six iterations with the founder and CTO. The app is now live on the App Store.
  • Exaforce, an AI security operations platform, USA. We built the Webflow website, with 20+ pages and 10+ CMS collections, then continued with Webflow development, motion and 3D on subscription, alongside the client's in-house designers.
  • WellO, a health-tracking app connecting nutritionists with their clients, for the Academy of Integrative Nutraceutics. We designed it from a nutrition diary into a platform with an AI assistant, courses and in-app purchases.
